Russ Greene is Executive Director of the Prime Mover Institute. Previously, he was a Senior Fellow for the Economy at Stand Together Trust, where he managed a grantmaking portfolio focused on federal regulatory affairs. Prior to that, he worked for CrossFit Inc., directing the company’s brand defense and government affairs efforts.
Russ has also worked in defense contracting and as an Arabic linguist. His writing and commentary have appeared in City Journal, The American Mind, Law & Liberty, AIER’s The Daily Economy, Civitas Outlook, and other outlets, with work spanning energy policy, federal regulation, ESG, fiscal policy, classical liberalism, and entitlement reform. Russ earned a B.S. in International Politics from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
